Anne Naarits is the judge for Afghan Hounds, Borzois and Pharaoh Hound and judge for the sighthound lure coursing competitions.

Before starting with the afghan hounds more than 20 years ago, I was very active in poodles and german shepards. I owned both breeds and bred a few litters which were quite successful at that time in Russia. As a young girl graduating the university (Pedagogical University Bachleor degree in Pre-School Psychiology), I always found time to take those long trips and drive hundreds of kilometers to the shows in other towns as well as other countries. My daughter was born in 1978 and my son in 1979. at that time I had a short period off the shows untill I bought my first afghan from Germany. More on the history of kennel Oshanameh's will be published under the section "history" in english (I hope Iren has more time now to translate the text into english and ad all the photos).

I have judged sighthounds at specialty shows in Finland and Russia and at all breed national and international shows in Estonia and Finland.

Currently President of the Estonian Sighthound Union.

Judged at specialty shows, all breed shows and international shows in Estonia, Finland and Russia

Iren Naarits is the judge for the FCI groups 4and 10 and judge for the sighthound lure coursing competitions

I am naturally following my mothers footsteps and got hooked with the breed as I grew up with them. As I turned 18 I went to the judges courses and since then have trained to be the sighthound judge under some very professional judges, such as Lotte Jorgensen and Rafael Malo Alcrudo.

I have judged sighthound specialties in Finland and Sweden and was invited to judge of the Finnish Borzoi Club specialty in June 2003. I have also judged the breeds from group 4 at a specialty in Estonia in 2005 and sighthounds at national and international shows in Estonia and Finland.

I have finished my studies with the degree of Bachleor of Jurisprudence in International, European Union and Comparative Law. I am now studying art at the Estonian National Art Academy. Some of my work may be seen if you select "drawings" from the left.

I am the secretary of the Estonian Sighthound Club.
